DESCRIPTION:<p dir="ltr">The Downtown Evanston Farmers' Market will be open every Saturday, May 6 through November 4, from 7:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., at University Place and Oak Avenue, behind the Hilton Garden Inn. Senior and disabled shoppers are invited to visit the Market early, from 7 a.m. to 7:30 a.m. Visitors are encouraged to arrive at the market hungry, as food will be sold on site. This season, over <a href="https://www.cityofevanston.org/government/departments/parks-recreation-community-services/programs-events/farmers-market/vendors-961#!/">50 vendors</a> will sell a wide variety of goods, including fruits, vegetables, meat, flowers, cheese, baked goods and more.&nbsp; LINK cards are accepted at the market. LINK customers will be able to receive a match of up to $25 per Saturday. Parents and guardians can get their children involved in healthier eating through the Farmers' Market's free Spud Club program. Children ages 2 to 10 years old can participate in a weekly activity and obtain a punch card at the Spud Club tent and get it punched each week. Once the card is fully punched, they will be able to select from a Market-themed bushel basket. Walking, riding or driving to the Market is easy. Free parking is available in the <a href="https://www.cityofevanston.org/residents/parking/lots-and-garages">1800 Maple Self Park Garage</a> with ticket validation at the City of Evanston tent. Live animals and pets, other than service animals, are not allowed at the Market.</p><br>
