Church & Dodge Evanston Business District is hosting their annual Holiday Festival & Tree Lighting this Friday, Dec. 13 from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. It’s always a pleasure partnering with this amazing group to bring holiday cheer to our community. The evening is full of exciting activities, and here are some highlights:

• Holiday Trolley Ride which departs at 5:15 p.m. with the ETHS Choir leading carols around Evanston
• Live Music featuring jazz by Vanguard Collective (5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.) and performances by Heirs of Joy, Second Baptist Choir, and the ETHS Choir
• Tree Lighting Ceremony beginning at 6:30 p.m.
• Ornament Making hosted by the Evanston Clerk’s Office
• Complimentary Food provided by the event, featuring 5th Ward favorites: Claire’s Korner, Spice Restaurant, Hecky’s Barbecue, C&W Ice Cream Parlor & Restaurant, Double Clutch Brewery, and Soul & Smoke
