Recently, residents along Chancellor Street will have noticed crews taking soil samples to assess soil conditions along the route for a new sewer line that will carry groundwater from under the new below-grade playing field at Ryan Field to the North Shore Canal. Details of this sewer project will be discussed with interested residents at a virtual meeting on Thursday, Feb. 6, from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m.
