The Evanston Fire Department, Police Department, and Evanston Firefighters Association Local 742 will hold the 24th annual 9/11 Remembrance Ceremony at Firefighters Park on Thursday, September 11, at 0730 hrs.

Remembering those who lost their lives during the 9/11 terrorist attack is our sacred obligation, recognizing all who survived and honoring the sacrifices of both the first responders and their families. We recall how the spirit of unity and service rose from this tragic day, giving us the courage to persevere.
