Join the Evanston Public Library for their Coloring Our Evanston Community! event on Saturday, August 2, from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Robert Crown Branch Library. This fun-filled hour of creativity and community is for kids 12 and under. Participants will enjoy color pages from Shorefront’s brand-new Colorful Legacies coloring book, hear inspiring stories about Evanston’s Black history, enjoy snacks, and take home their own copy of the coloring book. This program is hosted in partnership with the Evanston Police Department and Shorefront Legacy Center. Chef Stewart, who is also in the coloring book, will be providing autographs.
