Join Chabad of Evanston for the annual Public Chanukah Menorah Lighting Ceremony on Tuesday, December 16, at 5:30 p.m. at Fountain Square. This year’s celebration will be joined by Mayor Daniel Biss and Councilmember Burns, and other dignitaries who will offer greetings and help light the giant public Menorah in honor of the Chanukah holiday. The festive outdoor gathering will feature a brand new 15-foot Menorah, live musical performances, an LED robot show, a balloon artist, traditional Chanukah treats, and more! The event is free and open to the public.
