The City of Evanston encourages public participation at all regular and special meetings of its Boards, Commissions, and Committees (BCCs). Members of the public may:
Provide comments in person during meetings.
Submit written comment electronically to City Council at Publiccomment@cityofevanston.org

Council meeting agendas are posted two days in advance. To view upcoming City Council agendas, click here.
Important: Sign-in for public comment must be completed on the day of the meeting and will only be accepted until 15 minutes before the scheduled start time.

Commenting in Person
Speakers are requested to arrive early and sign up on the public comment sign-up sheet located near the entrance of the meeting room. The BCC Chair will open public comment by announcing the allotted time provided for the comment period and for individual speakers. BCC’s generally allow 3-5 minutes for each speaker. When the Chairperson calls your name, please address the BCC on the item of interest to you.
